Our company is opening its doors to a promising talent for the position of Purchasing Officer. The main goal of this role is to ensure the optimal availability of raw materials and products necessary for our production operations, by meeting internal needs, while respecting established procedures.
Your main tasks will be:
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding their needs in quantity and deadlines.
- Manage the quantitative purchasing programs of suppliers selected by the Purchasing department.
- Process and analyze purchase requests
- Enter, track, and follow up on supplier orders
- Coordinate deliveries and their tracking in relation with the Logistics department
- Monitor and optimize stock levels.
- Analyze KPIs, Purchase Orders, Delivery Orders, Service Rate, Deadlines, Safety Stock, etc.
- Participate in internal and external meetings and rituals
- Participate in supplier evaluations.
Required profile :
To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with a solid academic background, ideally a degree of Bac +3 (Bachelor's degree) minimum in management, logistics, or purchasing, with significant prior experience of 2 to 3 years in purchasing or procurement. Whether in the agri-food sector or a related field, this experience will have familiarized you with purchasing processes, supplier management, and flow optimization.
Beyond your training and experience, your personality and behavioral skills will play a key role. You possess great rigor and a keen sense of organization, essential for successfully carrying out complex purchasing tasks. Your ability to negotiate effectively and communicate clearly and concisely will be a major asset for maintaining fruitful relationships with our partners.
