Role of the Serial Life Nomenclature Consultant (MBOM):
- Data analysis and processing
Analyzes data and tasks received for processing.
Ensures correct and complete analysis of OCMs, corrective requests, etc.
Processes tasks assigned by the Team Leader or Nomenclature Synthesis (TL/SN).
Knows customer procedures and applies processing according to them, identifying the impact on the NFC (xxx).
- Anomaly and corrective action management
Processes OC54 anomalies and verifies the update of OCS54 anomalies.
Analyzes nomenclature discrepancies and proposes suitable solutions.
Corrects, if necessary, discrepancies between IPPE and NFC upon request.
Identifies and anticipates discrepancies when processing files.
Analyzes discrepancies reported by the OCS54 tool and proposes solutions for simple functions.
Proposes solutions for complex cases (e.g., harnesses, springs).
- Creation and updating of DAN (Nomenclature Analysis Documents)
Modifies existing DANs.
Creates new DANs from information from PN/N exchange files.
Identifies existing DANs related to a subject and updates them according to new requests.
Performs splits on multi-family DANs to create several specific DANs.
Applies scheduling rules.
Manages scheduling in connection with pre-series, associated with a product event (e.g., launch of a new engine, without window management).
Ensures the application of rules related to pre-series scheduling in window, including:
Application of a new reference in window.
Renewal in window of an existing reference.
Knows the principle of Table 21 for a vehicle function.
Identifies the need to update Tables 18 and 21 when processing an OE.
Proposes an adapted Table 21 for complex cases.
- Monitoring and traceability
Updates monitoring lines after each processing.
Integrates specific information into the monitoring files of each site.
- Processing of corrective requests
Correctly analyzes corrective requests in the TO/N monitoring file.
Modifies DAN and NFC dates following a corrective request, in accordance with procedures.
Processes complex corrective requests involving a change in impacts.
Works in degraded mode, awaiting a corrective OCM when necessary.
Required profile :
- Master's degree in industrial engineering or equivalent
