We are recruiting a Head of Methods Department to join our dynamic team.
You will be responsible for optimizing production processes and improving work organization within the department.
Your tasks will include developing, implementing, and monitoring work methods to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity of the teams.
You will also ensure compliance with performance objectives and requirements related to quality, health and safety at work, environmental, and energy standards, in accordance with all applicable regulations and standards for the products.

Safety and Environment:
• Ensure the application of QHSE rules on mobile and fixed equipment;
• Ensure the implementation and compliance with lockout/tagout protocols for crushing and cleaning equipment;
• Conduct risk analyses for interventions on machinery and equipment;
• Supervise the management of metal waste and ensure the environmental compliance of scrap preparation operations; Method and Improvement:
• Develop and update preventive and corrective maintenance plans for: • Handling equipment (forklifts, loaders, cranes, hydraulic excavators); • Crushing equipment (scrap shears, shears, coal crushers, etc.); • Cleaning equipment (scrap cleaners, dust removal systems). • Implement maintenance optimization methods (FMEA, TPM, SMED); • Lead Problem Solving Groups (GRP) to improve equipment reliability; • Monitor performance indicators (MTBF, MTTR, availability); Planning and Organization
• Prepare and plan maintenance interventions according to production priorities; • Coordinate maintenance actions with production, logistics, and safety teams; • Act as the interface with subcontractors and suppliers for repairs and external services; • Manage technical documentation (plans, diagrams, intervention history); Spare Parts Management
• Identify and manage critical spare parts for scrap preparation machinery and equipment; • Ensure the availability of spare parts and optimize stock levels; • Monitor the reception and quality control of parts and consumables;  

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in mechanics, hydraulics, and electrotechnics applied to heavy machinery and equipment.
• Mastery of preventive and curative maintenance techniques on scrap shredders and cleaners.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to handling equipment and industrial machinery.
• Experience in inventory management and spare parts supply.
• Use of CMMS, ERP (Sage, SAP), CAD (Autocad) software.
• Knowledge of QMS (ISO 9001/45001/14001) and 50001.

Professional Experience:

Master's degree (Bac+5) in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or Industrial Maintenance.
