As a Network & Security Engineer, your tasks will include:

• Analyzing and processing network & security incident requests reported or identified through tools and communication channels


• Handling operational requests (opening flows, routing, VLAN propagation, VIP/VPN deployment....)


• Advising and assisting clients if needed


• Managing evolutions (related to client requests or internal needs).


• Installing, upgrading, and configuring network & security equipment


• Maintaining the operational condition of infrastructures/services and security solutions within the scope.


• Establishing internal documentation and procedures.


• Proposing and implementing service improvement measures


• Writing incident reports and production-client communications.


• Monitoring daily operations.

Technical Environment:

• Switching & routing (Cisco, Juniper, Nortel)


• Security: Fortinet, Juniper Netscreen & SRX, Checkpoint


• Load balancing: F5 Big-ip & Radware Alteon
   

With a Master's degree (Bac+5) and at least 5 years of significant experience in the administration and operation of network and security architectures:

• You have mastered TCP/IP network components (DHCP, http, DNS, Radius, SSH...)


• You have mastered Layer 2 protocols


• You have mastered routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, RIP...


• You are known for your communication skills, your ability to work in a team and across departments.


• You have a strong sense of rigor to keep operational documents up to date.


• You are proactive and flexible.


• You have analytical and synthesis skills.


• You are results-oriented and focused on quality service for the client.


• You consider security requirements.


• You have a good level of French and English to hold technical conversations, explain and simplify information for clients/manufacturer support.


• Knowledge of operating systems (Unix & NT) and scripting automation languages will be a plus.
