Manpower is looking for a Segment Manager for one of its clients to oversee and ensure the performance of the segment unit according to defined objectives and KPIs, while optimizing human and material resources and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and service delivery.

Main missions:

• Manage and supervise the segment unit according to defined objectives and KPIs.
• Identify areas for improvement within the scope of responsibility, provide advice, and contribute to the improvement of service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with standards, governance, and process execution.
• Supervise direct reports under their responsibility.
• Plan the regular activity of the team to cover all stages and respond to all incoming requests.
• Define objectives, tasks, and responsibilities for team members, provide clear instructions, and monitor performance evaluation.
• Identify training and development needs for direct reports, monitor their professional development, and assist them in using newly acquired knowledge.
• Propose and implement measures to improve team performance, organizational flexibility, diversity, succession planning, coaching, change management, and personal development.
• Assume functional responsibility for the segment at the plant level and the workstation (shift) at the workstation level.
 

• Degree: Master's / Engineering.
• Field of study: Mechanics / Production / Engineering.
• Experience: 6 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Languages: French and English.
• Soft skills: Communication, Social and intercultural sensitivity, Change management, Results and objectives orientation, Motivation and resilience, Self-organization, Conflict management, Teamwork.
• Professional skills: Mastery of Lean Manufacturing, Hoshin Kanri, and continuous improvement techniques.
