GENERAL MISSION:
The Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems. Their tasks include analyzing internal customer needs, programming PLCs, configuring sensors and actuators, carrying out tests, resolving technical incidents, and staying updated on technology to integrate the latest innovations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams
- Read and interpret measurements of electrical quantities
- Configure frequency converters
- Diagnose faults in servomotors and servo drives
- Program industrial PLCs and HMIs
- Analyze and interpret requests from internal customers to create specifications defining the materials and best methods to use
- Perform maintenance and checks on machines: clean or replace all or part of the robotic or PLC-controlled devices on site
- Quickly identify anomalies and malfunctions to resolve them and restore the machine to working order
- Contribute to technological watch on tools, software, and hardware related to machine automation
- Backup PLC and HMI programs
Required profile :
Holder of a 2-year or 3-year degree in Automation or Electrical Engineering with initial experience in an industrial environment.
