For over ten years, we have been supporting our clients in the design and execution of events with high strategic value: trade shows, fairs, institutional events, corporate events, and tailor-made projects with high technical complexity.
As part of our development, we are recruiting a Technical Event Director to manage and structure the entire technical dimension of our projects.
Main missions
Reporting to General Management, the Technical Event Director is responsible for the technical design, planning, and execution of event projects.
To this end, he/she will be responsible for:
Defining and managing the technical strategy for event projects
Supervising all technical aspects: sound, lighting, video, scenography, structures, electricity, audiovisual, digital, etc.
Coordinating internal technical teams and external service providers
Participating in tender responses (technical studies, feasibility, budgets, schedules)
Ensuring technical compliance, safety, and adherence to current standards
Managing the budget and optimizing technical costs
Being present on-site during key phases: setup, operation, and dismantling
Anticipating technical risks and proposing appropriate solutions
Profile sought
Higher education in event technology, audiovisual, engineering, or equivalent
Proven experience (minimum 7-10 years) in a similar role, ideally in an event agency
Excellent command of complex event technical environments
Strong skills in managing technical teams
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Very good organizational, anticipation, and decision-making skills
Leadership, rigor, and composure
Proficiency in French is essential, English is an asset

Required profile :
The ideal candidate is an experienced technical director, expert in event scenography and the management of complex technical systems, capable of working on institutional, corporate, and international projects with high stakes.
He/she masters the entire event technical chain, from design to on-site operation, with advanced expertise in:
Event scenography (technical concepts, layout, flow, site constraints)
Professional sound, broadcasting, monitoring, analog and digital consoles
Stage lighting (architectural, event, DMX, lighting consoles)
Video & audiovisual (LED walls, mapping, video control room, filming, streaming)
Structures & rigging (stages, trusses, hanging points, loads, safety)
Event electricity and power management
Accustomed to highly complex projects, he/she knows how to integrate multiple constraints: short deadlines, unconventional sites, strict safety standards, multi-service provider coordination, and protocol requirements, particularly in institutional and international contexts.
The ideal candidate actively participates in tender responses, bringing real added value in terms of:
technical feasibility studies,
scenographic and technological choices,
optimized technical budgets,
setup/operation/dismantling schedules.
A seasoned technical manager, he/she supervises multidisciplinary teams (stage managers, team leaders, technicians) and coordinates local and international service providers, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and reliability.
Present on-site, he/she anticipates risks, manages unforeseen events with composure, and ensures flawless execution, in compliance with standards, deadlines, and international best practices.
The ideal candidate has solid experience in an event agency, technical production, or major international events, particularly on institutional projects, trade shows, fairs, exhibitions, or large-scale events.
Proficiency in French is essential, and English is highly appreciated.
