Join our dynamic company in the Import / Export / Trading sector, based in Casablanca! As the Group Chief Accountant (M/F), you will be a key player in our success, contributing directly to the company's financial performance. The main objective of this position is to ensure rigorous and efficient accounting management. It involves guaranteeing the reliability of financial data, respecting accounting and tax standards, and providing relevant financial information for decision-making. You will also be involved in the continuous improvement of accounting processes and the development of our financial management tools, thus contributing to the company's performance.
Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of accounting tasks, including:
Maintaining general accounting records: recording accounting operations, bank reconciliations, account reconciliation.
Managing tax declarations: VAT, corporate tax, other taxes.
Preparing balance sheets and income statements: analyzing financial data, identifying strengths and weaknesses.
Management control: budget monitoring, variance analysis, proposing corrective measures.
Managing relations with external auditors: collaborating with auditors during annual audits.
Participating in the improvement of accounting processes: identifying areas for improvement, proposing innovative solutions.
You will work closely with the management team and interact with various departments of the company.
Required profile :
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Bac +4) is required for this position. A specialization in Commercial / Sales / Export would be a considerable asset, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the financial aspects related to international transactions. Further training in accounting would be a significant plus.
We are looking for someone with 10 to 20 years of professional experience in a similar role. Significant accounting experience within an Import / Export / Trading company would be highly appreciated. Experience in team management would be a plus if you are aiming for a management position.

Mastery of accounting principles and Moroccan accounting standards.
Expertise in accounting management software.
Financial analysis and reporting skills.
Rigor, organization, and attention to detail to ensure data reliability.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
Fluency in French (written and spoken) is essential.
