We are seeking an experienced Local Head of Asset Management to lead our terminal’s Asset Management team. This role ensures all equipment and facilities operate at peak safety, reliability, and efficiency while driving sustainability and innovation. You will develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with global standards and local regulations, manage resources, and build a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and evolve the global yard strategy framework, ensuring alignment with TOS architecture and operational models across terminals.
- Act as the Yard Optimization SME, driving maturity and adoption of advanced TOS modules (Expert Decking, Prime Route, ASC Optimizer, Autostow, etc.).
- Manage TOS configuration and deployment projects, enhancing yard performance, process adherence, and operational efficiency.
- Translate operational needs into TOS configurations, parameters, and product enhancements in close collaboration with terminals and Global Operations/IT.
- Design and deliver global training programs, building capability among super users, planners, and key users, while leading a global superuser community.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation, capturing lessons learned, integrating best practices, and supporting AI-driven optimization and Kaizen initiatives.
What We Are Looking For:
- Extensive terminal operations and TOS experience, including +8 years in operations and +3 years working with port technology (preferably N4).
- Deep expertise in TOS advanced modules and strong understanding of yard strategy models and implementations.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
- Project management capability combined with a process design and solution oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and change management skills, able to simplify complexity and drive adoption across multicultural environments.
- Advanced IT proficiency and a curious, learning mindset, capable of translating theory into practical business value.
