Job : Main Mission
 
The Collaboration Solutions Specialist (VoIP Cisco) is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of communication and collaboration solutions based on Cisco VoIP technologies. They ensure the smooth operation of communication systems and support users to maximize the effectiveness of deployed solutions.
 

Responsibilities
 


  • Design and implementation: Design, deploy, and configure Cisco VoIP solutions to meet the university's needs.

  • Systems management: Ensure the daily maintenance and management of VoIP systems, including updates and patches.

  • User support: Provide Level 2/3 technical support to end-users and resolve issues related to collaboration solutions.

  • Monitoring and optimization: Monitor the performance of VoIP systems and implement measures to optimize call quality and network reliability.

  • Training and documentation: Train users on the features and best practices for using VoIP systems. Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.

  • Security: Ensure the security of communication systems by implementing appropriate security policies and protocols.

  • System integration: Work on integrating VoIP solutions with other communication systems and collaboration applications.

  • Project management: Participate in the management of projects for deploying new collaboration solutions, in coordination with IT teams and suppliers.

  • Technological watch: Stay informed about the latest technological advancements and best practices in the field of VoIP solutions and collaboration.




Required profile :


Required Skills





Technical:





  • Expertise in Cisco VoIP technologies (Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity, Cisco Jabber, etc.).

  • In-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, etc.) and IP networks.

  • Experience in deploying and managing VoIP systems in a university environment.

  • Skill in configuring routers, switches, and other Cisco network equipment.

  • Proficiency in monitoring and performance management tools for VoIP systems.



Analytical:





  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.

  • Aptitude for analyzing user needs and designing suitable solutions.



Personal:





  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Organizational skills and time management.

  • Ability to train and assist users.



Qualifications





Education:




Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.





Experience:




Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, with specific expertise in Cisco VoIP solutions.





Certifications:




Certifications such as CCNA Collaboration, CCNP Collaboration, or equivalent are highly desirable.
