Job :
The candidate will provide brief integrative psychotherapy to students, staff, and faculty of the University, in Darija, French, or English, covering a wide range of needs from supporting the development of young adults, including cognitive, emotional, and relational aspects, to managing psychopathologies, in close collaboration with the university psychiatrist.
In line with the university's strategic plan and to develop an environment rich in meaning, friendship, generosity, and cultural grounding, the candidate will also be responsible for organizing awareness and prevention activities on mental health and psychological well-being.
He/she will also lead psychoeducational groups on topics such as stress management, time management, social skills, and will conduct group therapies, integrating art therapy, mindfulness, or yoga.
Individual interventions, as well as group ones, aim to actively promote coping strategies and the well-being of participants.
The recruited clinical psychologist / counselor will also be required to:
- Write intervention reports, keep records up to date, and share them weekly with the Dean of Student Affairs and members of the Counseling service team.
- Cover on-call duties in case of emergencies.
- Intervene with university residents in emergency situations.
- Consult the University psychiatrist, if needed.
- Collaborate regularly with the staff of the University Medical Center.
- Provide support for university initiatives requiring a psychological perspective.
- Provide training to certain groups of students, staff, and/or faculty as needed.
Required profile :

Two years of experience in counseling at the university level, including personal and crisis support.
- Experience in training and/or facilitating psychoeducational groups.
- Experience in conducting group therapy.
- Experience in art therapy and/or mindfulness and/or yoga will be a plus.
- Experience in managing addictive behaviors related to the use of psychoactive substances and/or behavioral addictions will be a plus.
- Experience with gender-related issues will be a plus.
- Proficiency in computerized educational systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
