Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage and supervise the APQP activities within the plant.

  • Establish direct contact and follow up with quality residents at customer sites.

  • Request and track all PPAP approvals for new projects and product/process changes.

  • Lead the Advanced Quality activities related to new projects and new changes in serial programs.

  • Lead all customer audits, meet the customer objectives, and satisfy their requirements.

  • Control and validate Quality APQP deliverables in customer and internal portals.

  • Control and validate the development and the update of the control plan.

  • Ensure the special characteristics agreements with the customer and control their effective deployment in the manufacturing processes.

  • Ensure the coordination between the customer and the plant team if term of issues, changes, start ups…

  • Manage the problem-solving of customer claims related to prototypes and pre-serial production.

  • Control internal defect analysis for prototypes and pre-serial production.

  • Ensure the products validation plan elaboration and follow up.

  • Ensure that all customer requirements and specifications are being correctly deployed.

  • Ensure that all GPM, DPM and MSM requirements and Lear quality standards related to APQP are being correctly deployed.

  • Support in customer claims and internal issues solving in serial production.

  • Participate in the effective deployment and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.

  • Participate in quality improvement plan projects.

  • Respect the Safety, security, and environment requirements.

  • Manage the APQP Engineers including their training.

  • Ensure compliance with Hygiene and Safety Rules.

  • Ensure compliance with environmental requirements.

  • Implement, support, and monitor quality procedures.

  • Lead and participate in Quality improvement groups.

Key skills and Qualifications:



  • Degree: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Quality/Industrial field

  • Experience: 5 years of experience in automotive industry and 3 years of experience in quality.

  • Good know how and skills of the APQP approach and PPAP.

  • Mastery of Core Tools

  • Mastery of 8D problem solving methodology

  • Good communication skills

  • Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
