Job Description – Junior Administrative Lawyer







Context




Reporting to the legal department, the Junior Administrative Lawyer provides operational and administrative support for the company's legal activities. They contribute to securing operations while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.





General Mission




The Junior Administrative Lawyer participates in the daily management of legal and administrative tasks. They provide contractual support, conduct legal research and analysis, and assist operational teams on simple regulatory matters. They also ensure administrative and documentary follow-up within the legal department.





Main Responsibilities




The role includes managing and archiving legal files and contractual documents, as well as preparing, organizing, and monitoring administrative formalities. The Junior Administrative Lawyer ensures the follow-up of legal and regulatory deadlines and participates in legal research on various topics such as contract law, company law, or compliance. They draft summary notes and contribute to populating the internal legal documentation database.




The Junior Administrative Lawyer also participates in drafting and reviewing standard contractual documents, provides a first level of legal review, and flags major risks. They contribute to monitoring internal compliance procedures and best practices. The function finally involves coordinating with internal teams and support functions to centralize and structure legal information, and participating in the preparation of meetings, progress updates, and reports.










Required profile :


Profile Sought




The candidate must hold a law degree, ideally a Master 1 or 2 in business law, company law, or labor law. Previous experience, even internships or work-study programs, in a company's legal department or a law firm is desired, and experience in legal administrative management is a plus.




Required qualities include strong writing and communication skills, proficiency in office software, as well as rigor, autonomy, and confidentiality. The person must be able to manage multiple files simultaneously and work effectively in a team.

The Junior Administrative Lawyer must demonstrate analytical and synthesis skills, proactivity, and a service-oriented mindset. The ability to adapt to a dynamic professional environment, as well as good prioritization and deadline management, are essential.
