Job :
Attached to the Water Resources Department, your missions will be:
- To design, plan, and implement projects related to water resources.
- To collect, analyze, and interpret hydrological, meteorological, and geographical data,
- To conduct in-depth flood protection studies, including risk analysis, hydraulic modeling, and the design of engineering solutions to reduce the impact of floods in vulnerable areas,
- To develop hydrological models to predict trends and the impacts of climate change on water resources,
- To manage and supervise feasibility studies for drinking water supply, irrigation, drainage, and flood control projects,
- To design and implement rainwater and wastewater management systems,
- To write technical reports, and present results and recommendations to clients and stakeholders,
Required profile :
- Holder of a degree in Hydraulic Engineering from a top engineering school,
- Experience between 0 and 2 years in hydrological and hydraulic studies
- Solid knowledge in:
- Hydrology (HEC-HMS) and/or hydraulics (HEC-RAS 1D/2D)
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Programming (Python)
- Advanced use of GIS tools for spatial data analysis,
- In-depth understanding of environmental policies, regulations, and standards related to water,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for writing technical reports and presenting results,
- Rigor, autonomy, and dynamism,
- Organization, availability, interface management,
- Team spirit.
