About the position
As part of its growth, MOTARD is recruiting a Head of Product responsible for driving the product strategy and structuring a high-performing and profitable motorcycle range for the Moroccan market.
Reporting directly to the General Management, this strategic role involves transforming the company's vision into a clear, industrializable, and competitive product roadmap, in order to position MOTARD as a key player in the 50cc to 300cc segment.
Main Mission
The Head of Product defines, develops, and manages MOTARD's entire product offering. They ensure the consistency of the range, optimize profitability, and align product, marketing, sales, and logistics teams.
Responsibilities
Product strategy
• Define the range architecture (price, uses, target audiences).
• Identify product development opportunities suited to the market.
• Build and manage the product roadmap.
Development and launch
• Manage the development and launch of new models.
• Optimize the time-to-market for products.
• Develop an accessories line to increase the average order value.
Performance and profitability
• Analyze the sales performance of models.
• Optimize the product mix to maintain the target margin.
• Contribute to strategic decisions related to suppliers and sourcing.
Sales support
• Produce technical support and product arguments.
• Support marketing and sales teams during launches.
Key Objectives
• Structure a consistent and segmented range.
• Launch strategic new models.
• Achieve 80% network acceptance during launches.
• Maintain an optimal gross margin per product.
• Reduce the after-sales return rate through careful selection of components.
Required profile :
Profile Sought
7 to 10 years of experience in Product Management, ideally in the industrial, automotive, or mobility sectors.
Strong ability to balance technical rigor with a commercial vision.
Experience in managing product roadmaps and market launches.
Cross-functional leadership and ability to align multidisciplinary teams.
Entrepreneurial spirit and strong results orientation.
