Job Context
As part of the development of our high-value-added event activities, we are recruiting an Event Project Manager to lead complex institutional projects, within the framework of public markets, national and international calls for tenders, and high-stakes strategic events.
Main Missions
Strategic Project Management
Define the overall strategy for event projects in line with institutional objectives and tender requirements
Ensure the complete management of projects, from responding to the call for tenders to final delivery
Be responsible for quality, deadlines, costs, and regulatory compliance
Calls for Tenders & Public Contracts
Manage the preparation and structuring of responses to calls for tenders (technical, financial, administrative)
Analyze the technical specifications (CPS) and ensure strict adherence to procedures
Coordinate internal (creative, production, logistics, finance) and external contributions
Operational Management & Event Production
Supervise the design, production, and implementation of institutional events (forums, conferences, summits, inaugurations, protocol events)
Manage service providers (technical, scenography, audiovisual, catering, security, transport, etc.)
Manage project budgets, supplier negotiations, and financial monitoring
Management & Coordination
Supervise and develop the skills of project managers and operational teams
Establish rigorous working methods adapted to a demanding environment
Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders
International & Institutional Dimension
Manage projects involving international partners, public institutions, embassies, international organizations
Consider protocol, representation, and institutional communication issues
Ensure professional communication in French and English
Profile Sought
Education & Experience
Bachelor's/Master's degree (Bac+4/5) in communication, event management, project management, or equivalent
Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in event management, including significant experience in institutional and public procurement
Proven experience in managing calls for tenders and complex, high-budget projects
Experience with international projects is highly appreciated
Key Skills
Excellent mastery of event project management
Very good knowledge of public procurement procedures
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in constrained environments
Solid budgetary and contractual skills
Natural leadership, organizational skills, and decision-making ability
