We’re looking for a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) who is passionate about helping customers achieve their business goals through Microsoft Azure. As a senior technical leader in the Core CE&S team, you’ll engage directly with IT and business decision-makers to design and deliver secure, scalable, and AI-ready solutions across infrastructure, applications, and data platforms. You’ll lead architectural design sessions, guide customers through modernization and migration efforts, and ensure operational excellence using frameworks like the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF), augmenting field capability on Cloud & AI Innovative workloads. In this customer-facing role, you’ll act as an extension of the engineering team, resolving blockers, sharing insights with engineering, and driving adoption of Azure services through repeatable IP and best practices. You’ll also provide hands-on delivery oversight for programmatic engagements, coach field teams on value-based delivery, and embed delivery best practices into delivery guides. With deep technical expertise and a growth mindset, you’ll lead technical intensity, mentor technical communities, maintain advanced certifications, and help shape Microsoft’s product roadmap by representing the voice of the customer. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead innovation at scale and empower customers to unlock the full value of their Cloud and AI investments. 




 Key Responsibilities:



  • Build trusted relationships with customer IT and business leaders to shape cloud and AI strategies, acting as a technical advisor and champion for long-term success.



  • Lead secure, scalable solution design and implementation across infrastructure, applications, and data using frameworks like CAF and WAF.



  • Drive delivery excellence by owning technical execution, resolving blockers, and ensuring alignment with customer success plans and Azure consumption goals.



  • Guide customers through modernization, migration, innovation, and AI readiness, delivering repeatable IP and contributing to Factory and Unified delivery engines.



  • Provide hands-on oversight for Factory engagements, coach field teams on value-based delivery (VBD), and continuously improve delivery guides.



  • Maintain deep technical expertise and complete advanced certifications across priority workloads including Infra, AI Apps, and Data platforms.



  • Mentor technical communities, lead enablement efforts, and collaborate with Worldwide Learning (WWL) to develop and publish learning content.



  • Capture and share customer feedback to influence Microsoft’s product roadmap and represent the Voice of the Customer in Engineering forums.



  • Deliver secure, resilient architectures that meet performance and compliance standards, prioritizing Defender for Cloud and network security.



  • Inspire AI adoption by sharing best practices, leading with Microsoft’s AI story, and helping customers innovate with confidence at scale.

Preferred Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting



    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting



    • OR equivalent experience



  • 4+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).



  • 4+ years experience working on technical projects



  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications)
