The Position
The Opportunity
The Business and Customer Manager (BCM), reporting to the Brand and Customer Lead, is the strategic heartbeat of our disease area, responsible for the end-to-end commercial success and market presence of our innovative portfolio. This is not a traditional marketing role; it is a high-impact position where you will act as a Catalyst for our field teams and an Architect of the patient journey.
You will co-define and execute a visionary marketing strategy that seamlessly integrates medical insights, market access hurdles, and customer needs. By leading high-impact multichannel campaigns and fostering deep, non-transactional partnerships with Healthcare Professionals and Patient Associations, you will ensure our innovations reach the patients who need them most.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of marketing strategies, from conceptualizing high-impact multichannel campaigns to field implementation, ensuring seamless alignment with medical and market access objectives.
- Act as the primary strategic partner for field teams (PJPs) by providing deep technical expertise, competitive intelligence, and co-created content to optimize product positioning and performance.
- Develop and nurture sophisticated partnerships with top-tier Healthcare Professionals (KOLs) and Patient Associations to co-create scientific workshops, preceptorships, and patient-centric solutions.
- Take full accountability for brand P&L and marketing budgets, utilizing rigorous KPI tracking and sales monitoring to identify growth opportunities and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Proactively shape the market for upcoming indications and new product opportunities, ensuring the healthcare system is prepared to realize the full potential value of Roche’s innovation.
- Lead complex local and affiliate-driven projects that foster international collaboration, driving scalable initiatives focused on healthcare system improvement and patient support.
Who you are?
Required Education and Expertise
- MBA / University degree in Marketing, having a Scientific Diploma is a plus
- 3 to 5 years professional experience in Marketing
- Should have a good scientific knowledge:
Knowledge of market environment & competition
Substantial experience working with diverse external stakeholders
Experience in Ophthalmology filed is a strong preference
Fluent in both English & French oral and written
