Mission/role:
The ‘Data Owner – Inventory’ supports the Head of Master & Federated Data and the Inventory workstream lead in defining, delivering and managing a global solution for collecting inventory data, including data quality and B2B commercial inventory data ownership.
The scope of inventory data includes Installed Offers, Installed Services, and Installed Resources.
This role is part of a core team responsible for the Master Data at the heart of the Orange Business digital customer & employee journey strategy. It is a marketing-orientated role, ensuring we capture, manage and exploit the right data at the right quality to deliver operational efficiency, customer journey, commercial advantage, and therefore drive both customer experience excellence and business growthData Owner for inventory data and documents
- Be recognized as the business expert on inventory data (IO, IS, IR), supporting projects and portfolios in modelizing, collecting, fixing issues to provide our consumers the inventory with high data quality level.
- Ensure we continue to collect new datasources to complete the Referential with all sources expected by business on both CurrentCo and NewCo side.
- Align inventory data for operational & analytical purposes on a new TMF model quite aligned with NewCO model to ensure CurrentCo & NewCo inventory are in a single scpeless model.
- Responsible, in conjunction with wider inventory team and data quality team, for strategy to optimizing the quality of inventory data. Work closely with the inventory data steward and the wider Data Quality team to identify KPIs and monitor & report the quality (accuracy & completeness) of inventory records; ensure, in collaboration with Data quality team, activity to find & correct any errors and fix the root cause of any identified issues when identified to be treated in our project.
- Lead data ingestion part of the Customer inventory stream and build a target aligned with architects.
- Produce a roadmap aligned with business expectations on strategic projects, Data factory capacities. It should also take into account major OB transformation like the FEXIT, the FEDINV refactoring, migration to Bleu, the MDM pilot around catalog…
Business owner of inventory referential tools.
- Responsible for leading stakeholder community to collect & prioritize user story requirements for enhancements or new data source integration.
- Drive delivery of a scopeless solution, to support CurrentCo and NewCo ecosystems. Conduct the creation of the new refactory solution (in PostGre) to ensure the future migration of the legacy solution (OrientDB) for the ingestion part.
- Providing business leadership to IT teams (CTIO, DTSI, Data Factory) to develop & deliver in line with business needs, setting business priorities and fully support strategic projects such as NewCo, Vibe, Api for Business, Unify Desk, service assurance….
- Ensure data integration of relevant information to maximise exploitation of B2B inventory objects (IO, IS, IR) records.
- Act as SPOC for identified strategic projects (e.g. NewCo), collecting expectations and leading the transversal interdependence with other members of our team our outside the team around the inventory topic
User access to inventory data
- Responsible for modelizing & providing B2B objects in the Dataplace in collaboration with other members of the Customer inventory team
- Provide support to other members of the Inventory team in charge of exposure, to enable collectively to fullfil business expectations. Ensure support to ease the migration from current exposure solution to target solution on Selfi (exposure responsibility is now transferred to Selfi team)
- Responsible, in conjunction with wider inventory team, for ensuring appropriate access controls to inventory data, complying with regulatory, security & confidentialityrequirements while maximizing democratization to facilitate delivery of business value.

education, qualifications, and certifications
Academic business degree or equivalent, (business administration, information management)
Subject matter Expertise in OB tools, in data modelling and flows
Experience
MS Office, Teams, Data Quality Platforms, meta data, Data Visualisation
Minimum 5 years experience of data management / data process / quality management
