About the position
As part of its business development, our client, a major player in the aeronautical sector, is looking for an Obsolescence Manager.
You will be involved in high-value-added projects related to the life cycle management of components and equipment, in a demanding technical environment.
Your missions
Ensure the monitoring and management of component and equipment obsolescence
Identify risks related to End-of-Life (EOL) of parts
Implement action plans (replacement, redesign, alternative sourcing)
Analyze technical, logistical, and economic impacts
Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and maintenance teams
Ensure the updating of technical databases
Be a proactive force in proposing solutions for obsolescence anticipation
Required profile :
Profile sought
Master's degree (Bac+5) in engineering (mechanical, electronic, industrial, or equivalent)
Proven experience in obsolescence management or product life cycle management
Knowledge of the aeronautical sector (highly desirable)
Good command of technical data management tools
Analytical skills, rigor, and synthesis ability
Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
