Roles & Responsibilities

Oversees daily front office operations, including guest check-in, check-out, reservation management, and concierge services. Develops and maintains efficient check-in procedures to ensure a smooth and welcoming guest experience. Assists in the ongoing training of front office staff to ensure professional and courteous interactions with guests. Coordinates with other departments to anticipate guest needs and resolve issues promptly. Implements strategies to maximize room occupancy and optimize revenue. Handles guest complaints professionally, finding appropriate solutions to ensure guest satisfaction. Attends regular front office staff performance reviews and provides constructive feedback. Ensures compliance with hotel safety and hygiene standards and procedures. Develops strong relationships with regular guests and loyalty program members. Implements security procedures to protect hotel property and guest confidentiality. Organizes regular briefings to ensure staff are informed of current events and promotions. Coordinates scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Experience and training

  • Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) / Master's degree (Bac+5) in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism, Management or equivalent field.
  • Professional experience of at least 3 years within the Front Office department, ideally in a high-end or luxury establishment.

Technical skills:

  • Excellent command of daily reception operations and procedures related to welcoming, arrivals, departures and managing customer requests.
  • Ability to assist the Front Office Manager in the organization, monitoring and optimization of department activities.
  • Mastery of hotel management systems (PMS) and office tools, including Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards and ability to actively contribute to their compliance on a daily basis.

Personal qualities:

  • Strong organizational skills, meticulousness, and excellent prioritization skills.
  • Reactivity, flexibility and the ability to evolve in a demanding and constantly changing environment.
  • Team spirit, autonomy and a strong results orientation.

LANGUAGES :

  • Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
  • Fluency in a third language is an asset.
