Roles & Responsibilities
Perform 3D design of parts and sub-assemblies (plastic, sheet metal, mechanical) Produce 2D drawings (functional dimensioning, tolerances) Ensure compliance with design rules (DFM, DFA) Manage packaging and multi-trade integration Participate in design reviews Track technical changes (ECR/ECO) Collaborate with: calculation/simulation teams, quality control, industrialization, and suppliers Ensure data consistency in PLM tools Verify technical and industrial feasibility
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
Master's degree (or equivalent) in CAD design with experience in mechanical design, specializing in 3D/2D modeling and product integration, working on industrial projects (automotive, rail, aerospace, or equipment). The candidate is proficient in CAD tools and understands design constraints to deliver robust, industrializable solutions that meet client requirements.
Proficiency in one or more CAD tools: CATIA V5 / V6 CREO NX (Siemens)
Strong skills in: mechanical design, plastic design (injection molding), and technical design.
Good knowledge of: ISO/GD&T dimensioning, dimension chains, functional tolerancing
Knowledge of manufacturing processes: plastic injection molding, stamping, machining
My proficiency with PLM tools: ENOVIA / Teamcenter / Windchill
Reading and understanding technical specifications
