Le M ridien N'Fis NFIS Marrakech is seeking an exceptional and visionary General Manager to lead the next chapter of one of Marrakech's most exciting lifestyle destinations. As the property continues its transformation under an ambitious ownership vision, NFIS is redefining itself through a distinctive blend of hospitality, culinary excellence, cultural storytelling, design, and curated lifestyle experiences. Supported by strategic partnerships and innovative concepts, the hotel is positioned to become a true destination within Marrakech's landscape under the Autograph Collection. This role requires a highly visible, entrepreneurial, and charismatic leader who can successfully balance guest experience, operational excellence, commercial performance, talent leadership, and strong ownership partnership. The General Manager will not only execute the property's strategic vision but actively contribute to shaping its future identity and market positioning. The successful candidate will bring extensive luxury and lifestyle hospitality experience, a passion for Food & Beverage innovation, a refined attention to detail, and a proven ability to create vibrant destination experiences that attract both international travelers and the local community.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Leading Hotel Operations

Provides strategic leadership across all operational departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences and sustainable business performance. Maintains a highly visible presence throughout the hotel, leading by example and ensuring flawless execution of luxury service standards. Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, proactively identifying operational, service, or aesthetic opportunities and ensuring rapid resolution. Creates a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement. Ensures strong operational execution across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Events, Wellness, and Lifestyle experiences. Champions a guest-centric culture aligned with the evolving identity and positioning of NFIS Marrakech.

Driving Commercial & Financial Performance

Delivers revenue growth, profitability and market positioning through strategic business leadership. Partners closely with Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management teams to maximise performance across all segments. Leverages luxury and lifestyle market insights to strengthen the hotel's positioning within Marrakech and internationally. Identifies new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and innovative concepts that enhance the guest experience and commercial performance. Maintains strong financial discipline while identifying opportunities for innovation and long-term value creation.

Lifestyle, Innovation & Brand Development

Acts as a key ambassador and steward of the NFIS brand vision, helping bring the property's unique identity to life. Collaborates with ownership and strategic partners to develop and enhance signature concepts, experiences, and partnerships. Drives innovation across guest programming, culture, gastronomy, wellness, and entertainment. Creates dynamic experiences that establish the hotel as a destination for both international guests and local clientele. Demonstrates a sophisticated understanding of luxury, design, storytelling, and experiential hospitality.

Talent & Culture Leadership

Builds and develops a high-performing leadership team through coaching, succession planning and active talent development. Champions Marriott s people-first culture and leadership principles. Creates an environment that attracts, retains and inspires top hospitality talent. Leads with authenticity, resilience and emotional intelligence.

Stakeholder & Owner Partnership

Maintains strong relationships with ownership representatives and key regional stakeholders. Provides clear communication, strategic updates and operational transparency. Acts as an ambassador for both Marriott International and the Le M ridien brand within the local and international market.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Significant senior leadership experience within luxury, lifestyle, or premium hospitality environments.

Previous General Manager experience within internationally recognized luxury or lifestyle hotel brands.

Proven success leading complex luxury hotel operations with strong Food & Beverage components.

Experience developing destination venues, lifestyle programming, and guest experiences that drive market relevance and local engagement.

Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in revenue growth, profitability, and asset performance.

Experience working closely with ownership groups and managing sophisticated stakeholder relationships.

International hospitality experience across multiple markets preferred.

Demonstrated ability to lead culturally diverse teams and build high-performance cultures.

French and/or Arabic language capabilities are advantageous.
