Job Description

Main mission

The SAP testing engineer is responsible for the functional and technical validation of SAP solutions implemented within the company. They ensure that developments, customizations, and integrations meet business requirements and guarantee system quality before production deployment.

• Participate in the analysis of business needs and the drafting of test plans.

• Design, execute and automate functional tests on the SAP modules concerned (e.g. FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM).

• Identify, document and track anomalies detected in the test management tool (e.g. Jira, HP ALM, TestRail).

• Collaborating with development teams and key users to understand business processes and validate fixes.

• Participate in integration, regression and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Contribute to the implementation and improvement of testing strategies and methodologies.

• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases and results obtained.

• Write test reports and validation summaries.

Qualifications

Technical skills required

• Good knowledge of one or more SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, BW, etc.).

• My mastery of testing tools (HP ALM, Jira/XRay, SAP Solution Manager Test Suite, etc.).

• Knowledge of SAP Fiori / S/4HANA is appreciated.

• Knowledge of test automation (SAP TAO, Worksoft Certify, Tosca, UFT, or Selenium).

• Good understanding of business processes and inter-module integrations.

• Ability to read and understand functional and technical specifications.

Search profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree +3 to Master's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent.

• Experience: Minimum 2-5 years in testing on SAP environment (more for a senior position).

• Languages: Professional English required (exchanges with international teams).
