Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

As a Delivery Excellence Manager , you ensure the application of best practices in project management and software engineering within the projects and programs you oversee. You ensure compliance with SQLI standards, including commitments, quality, costs, deadlines, customer satisfaction, and compliance. You work across the entire production line in collaboration with project managers and project directors who report the operational aspects of their missions to you.

  • Pre-sales: Validate the systems by ensuring their suitability with the client's and group's delivery challenges, while actively participating in the decision-making bodies of the process.

  • Operational management and monitoring: Supervise delivery activities, provide methodological support, ensure control of the implementation of KPI dashboards, control finances and examine risks.

  • Coaching and training: Providing coaching and assistance to Project Managers / Project Directors in their missions, participating in the training of CP/DP.

  • Project check-up: Conduct regular project checks to ensure compliance with good project management and software engineering practices.

  • Continuous improvement and closure: Supervise continuous improvement plans for projects and service centers, participate in project reviews.

  • Governance: Participate in customer and internal steering committees, adapted according to the issues, and lead internal and external arbitration points.

  • Reporting: Organize follow-up meetings with project managers and project directors, and report activities to the Head of Delivery of SQLI Morocco.

  • Community: Facilitate the community of practice, contribute to the SQLI Delivery practice reference framework and strengthen the use of the reference framework and tools across the organization.

  • Customer relations: Ensure customer contact during key phases and escalations, and lead workshops with customers.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Education: Bac+5 degree from an Engineering school (or equivalent).

  • Experience: A minimum of 12 years of experience, including at least 6 years of experience in project and program management.

  • Project management skills: Solid mastery of project management methodologies.

  • Software engineering skills: Good mastery of software engineering practices.

  • Technical skills: Solid technical background, ideally experience in developing or integrating IT solutions.

  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills with a good command of English.

  • Computer skills: Good command of Office suites and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).

  • Analytical qualities: Ability to synthesize information and creativity in finding solutions.

  • Organization: Rigor, sense of organization and method.

  • Multicontextual capabilities: Ability to work in different contexts, facilitating the management of several projects in parallel.

  • Interpersonal skills: Relational skills and team spirit, ability to lead and listen.
