Job Description

Main Missions

1. Construction & operation of the CI/CD platform

• Design, operate and optimize a CI/CD platform based on GitLab Ultimate in SaaS .
• Manage and maintain a suite of DevOps tools including:
  GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWX, ArgoCD, Keycloak, HashiCorp Vault, SonarQube CE & EE, Confluence, Jira .
• Ensure deployment and operation on GCP , particularly via GKE .
• Monitor the platform via internal observability tools (such as Dynatrace, ELK, PagerDuty ).

2. Reliability, support and continuous improvement

• Provide technical support, including participation in 24/7 on-call duty.
• Ensure the scalability, security and performance of the platform.
• Maintain clear, accessible and regularly updated documentation.
• Participate in defining the strategy for the evolution of software engineering tools and methodologies.

3. Collaboration and support of teams

• Working closely with product teams to optimize their CI/CD experience.
• Promote DevOps best practices and their widespread adoption.
• Encourage team autonomy through the provision of self-service options (internal portal based on Backstage.io ).
• Contribute to technical governance decisions.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Required Technical Skills

DevOps Tools & Environments

• Advanced GitLab administration and CI/CD pipeline design .
• Good mastery of the DevOps ecosystem:
  Git, Ansible, Terraform, ArgoCD, Helm, Kubernetes .
• In-depth knowledge of GCP , particularly GKE.
• Scripting matrix: Python and Bash .

Infrastructure & Observabilit

• Knowledge of monitoring via tools such as Dynatrace, ELK, PagerDuty .
• Good security practices and secrets management (HashiCorp Vault).

Behavioral and Organizational Skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in French; technical English.
• Ability to collaborate with distributed teams.
• Analytical mind, critical thinking and a desire for continuous improvement.
• Ability to step back and propose appropriate solutions.

Search Profile

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 3-7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the retail or mass distribution sector is a plus.
