Roles & Responsibilities
Essential responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the supply chain strategy, policies, and procedures to drive operational excellence and financial performance
- Ensure seamless operations and proactively anticipate customer needs to maximize satisfaction and guarantee zero disruptions or complaints
- Oversee all supply chain activities, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards, including EHS, QMS, customer requirements, import/export and customs laws
- Align planning, sourcing, procurement, production, and delivery processes with current and future demand to ensure timely fulfillment
- Optimize logistics, inventory, and material flow to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery while meeting customer requirements
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPI) for supply chain department, reporting on progress and driving continuous improvement
- Prepare and manage annual supply chain budgets (OPEX & CAPEX), including forecasting and project oversight
- Manage and evaluate suppliers and logistics partners performance, driving improvements and cost savings
- Ensure readiness and compliance with all internal and external audits related to supply chain activities
- Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain teams to achieve plant objectives, continuous improvement, and cost reductions
Other responsibilities:
- Maintain effective cross-functional communication and coordination with other departments to ensure alignment and achievement of plant targets
- Monitor market trends, internal business initiatives, and projects that may affect supply and demand; assess and communicate their impact on supply chain activities to relevant stakeholders
- Benchmark supply chain practices with other plants to identify, share, and implement best practices
Desired Candidate Profile
Required experience and education:
- At least 5 years of proven experience as Supply Chain Manager within the automotive industry
- Contribution to a greenfield or start-up project is appreciated
- BAC+5 (Engineering degree or Master) in Supply Chain, Logistics or Industrial engineering
Your Must Haves:
- In-depth knowledge and proficiency in Supply Chain management systems (planning, sourcing, procurement, Inventory, demand analysis, transport, and deliveries)
- Advanced user of SAP and MRP/ERP system with an understanding of order generation logic
- Financial acumen with the ability to manage Profit & Loss responsibilities, oversee and optimize budgets for cost-effective operations (OPEX & CAPEX)
- Customer facing experience with Stellantis
- Proven capacity to ensure full compliance of Supply Chain processes with IATF standard
- Skilled in analyzing complex issues, implementing effective solutions and making sound decisions
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage, coach and develop high-performing teams in challenging situations and deliver plant objectives
- Excellent negotiation skills for managing suppliers, contracts and partnerships to achieve cost savings and performance improvements.
- Outstanding communication skills in both English and French, with the ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional organizational abilities, including time management and planning, to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
