The Linux Systems Engineer position aims to evolve, secure, and standardize Linux platforms in a multi-site and international context as part of the Scalian Group's IT infrastructure evolution and industrialization. Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure within the Group IT Department's Systems division.

Main missions:

• Evolve Linux platforms towards market standards.
• Transform and improve the delivery model of Linux environments.
• Develop infrastructure evolution projects within their scope.
• Participate in the industrialization and automation of platforms.
• Maintain Linux environments in operational condition.
• Manage the server lifecycle (installation, configuration, inventory, supervision).
• Support and advise third-party and application teams.
• Handle complex incidents and advanced requests.
• Draft and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.

System Security:

• Monitor vulnerabilities and CVEs.
• Deploy security patches.
• Implement and continuously improve Linux server hardening.
• Apply group information system security policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Profile:

• Minimum Bac+2 degree in IT.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in a Linux environment.
• Good command of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management).
