We are looking for a passionate Works Engineer (H/F) to supervise and coordinate our construction projects. As a Works Engineer, your main mission would be to guarantee the results of your sites through planning, organization, procurement, and monitoring of sites in terms of cost, quality, deadlines, and safety.

Your responsibilities will be to ensure monitoring on the detailed aspects below:

1 Quality, Health, Safety, Environment

  • Leads site meetings concerning safety, quality, and environmental points in accordance with his hierarchy's instructions;
  • Writes or participates in the drafting of QHSE instructions and ensures the application of rules (PPSPS, PAQ, PAE...) through execution procedures;
  • Informs the QSE Manager of dysfunctions encountered;
  • Handles non-conformities and implements adequate corrective actions;
  • May be responsible for QHSE onboarding of new employees on site;
  • Participates in accident and dangerous situation analyses;
  • Conducts QHSE site visits.

2 Study of the file / Preparation / Site Monitoring / Acceptance and End of Site:

  • Ensures the management of one or more sites;
  • Assists the Works Director in responding to calls for tenders;
  • Receives, studies, and analyzes market elements (plans, profiles);
  • Coordinates execution studies (plan, calculation notes, profile);
  • Develops the detailed site budget (material volume, necessary human and material resources);
  • Makes authorization requests and obtains the necessary documents for site setup;
  • Drafts execution methods and procedures with his site manager;
  • Organizes document control for sites;
  • Consults service providers (suppliers, subcontractors), places orders, and gives instructions to subcontractors;
  • Sets objectives with site managers: team constitution, development of team scheduling to ensure business continuity;
  • Monitors site activity;
  • Evaluates the quality of services provided by different stakeholders (subcontractors and suppliers);
  • Controls the production and quality of as-built plans;
  • Ensures the administrative and financial management of sites (accounting, monitoring of customer and supplier invoicing);
  • Manages the interventions of surveyors and laboratory technicians;
  • Participates in the acceptance of the work in the presence of the client and the works director.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

You demonstrate:

  • Mastery of office tools and specific software (autocad, Project);
  • Budgetary control;
  • Knowledge of the Group's common procedures in terms of HQSE;
  • Ability to analyze a technical file.

Required profile

Qualifications required:

  • You have:
  • Bac +5 or significant professional experience in the role;
  • Mobility;
  • Driving license.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

You demonstrate:

  • Mastery of office tools and specific software (autocad, Project);
  • Budgetary control;
  • Knowledge of the Group's common procedures in terms of HQSE;
  • Ability to analyze a technical file and propose technical and financial modifications;
  • Knowledge of the different trades involved on site;
  • Development of operating methods.
