DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for OFR Bulk Operations & Customer Service Specialist in Morocco. In this role, you will Ensure the delivery from A-Z of all the operations process related to OFR shipments.

In this OFR Bulk Operations & Customer Service Specialist position

• You will handle day-to-day shipments and operational activities for Bulk Ocean Freight, including both import and export shipments.
• You will liaise with origin and destination offices for forecasts and maintain regular communication with the Sales Department and Department Supervisor.
• You will place booking orders with shipping lines through the appropriate systems.
• You will ensure that all shipments comply with customs regulations in Morocco and other applicable country regulations.
• You will send Bill of Lading (BL) instructions to shipping lines and verify that all information on the Bill of Lading is accurate and complete.
• You will coordinate with depots for the fitting of flexitanks and arrange container pickups with truckers according to customer requirements and timelines.
• You will coordinate with customs brokers to manage customs clearance formalities.
• You will check and prepare all necessary documentation required for export, import, and customs clearance processes.
• You will issue customer invoices within 4 days of departure for exports and within 3 days of arrival for imports.
• You will ensure the timely collection of containers from shipping line depots.
• You will provide customers with complete and accurate information in a timely manner.
• You will coordinate daily operations and the movement of goods, including hazardous cargo.
• You will prepare all shipping documents accurately and on time and identify the most appropriate transport mode in consultation with customers.
• You will ensure all required documents are delivered on time to customers, brokers, shipping lines, and truckers.
• You will maintain optimal levels of customer satisfaction.
• You will monitor and control file performance, including gross profit (GP), costs, and revenue.
• You will consolidate monthly operational data for KPI reporting and analyze performance trends.
• You will have the responsibility and authority to approve or reject non-conforming freight and containers.
• You will handle customer complaints and work closely with shipping lines and the station network to implement corrective actions whenever issues or challenges arise.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2-4 Years of experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification

• Fluent in English, French, and Arabic
