Job Title: Project Coordinator

Location: Onsite, Casablanca Morocco
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the supervised execution of mid-complexity projects, ensuring successful contract fulfillment relative to scope, schedule, and financials. The role focuses on achieving key deliverables and stakeholder satisfaction. Additionally, the Project Coordinator supports the development of cross-functional project management procedures, processes, tools, and techniques. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager or Associate Project Manager, they work within the Project Management Office, which includes Project Engineering, Supply Chain, and support staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent Project Management in the bidding process, advising on contractual and operational risks, and considering historical lessons learned.
- Lead customer kick-off meetings to confirm contractual deliverables and address unresolved issues.
- Lead internal cross-functional project kick-offs to achieve consensus on project scope, schedule, and commercials.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to ensure efficient, cost-effective contract execution.
- Ensure proactive project execution according to agreed scope, schedule, and budget.
- Oversee, review, and approve project documentation and submission schedules.
- Lead the cross-functional project team from contract award to final customer acceptance, managing commercial aspects and capturing lessons learned.
JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience as a member of a cross-functional Project Team in the engineered-product B2B industry.
- Technical appreciation of Weir products and processes (desirable).
- College qualification (essential); degree qualification (desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (essential); SAP knowledge (desirable).
- Language proficiency in Arabic (Native), French (Fluent Professional), and English (Fluent Professional).
- Efficient and effective in planning and monitoring work.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others.
