Job Title: Project Expeditor
Division: Minerals
Location: Onsite, Casablanca Morocco
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The Project Expeditor manages all supply chain steps for projects, including supplier onboarding, SAP setup, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. They execute supply chain and logistics strategies, manage import operations, monitor delivery dates and customs clearance, and ensure on-time delivery. Additionally, they handle procurement documentation, coordinate with on-site agents, and ensure compliance with EHS policies and risk assessments, all in compliance with Weir Group Policies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all supply chain steps related to the project, including supplier onboarding and SAP setup.
- Collaborate with internal customers (Sales, Service, Finance) and external customers, suppliers, and local authorities.
- Execute supply chain and logistics strategies aligned with regional and global strategies.
- Manage import operations, including document management and coordination of invoice payments for customs clearance.
- Monitor delivery dates and customs clearance, taking action to resolve any issues.
- Track transit orders and coordinate between Intercompany and hauliers.
- Ensure compliance with EHS policies, risk assessments, and company-wide health, safety, and environmental requirements.
JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related area.
- Experience in supply chain management.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- SAP knowledge preferred but not essential.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Good understanding of logistics and customs processes.
- Language proficiency in Arabic (Native), French (Fluent Professional), and English (Fluent Professional).
