Key responsibilities and tasks
This role is fully accountable for consolidated E2E demand/supply management for respective category & PS regional connection and support category-based mission teams.
This accountability includes but is not limited to:
// Demand Planning and Forecasting:
- Conducts data analysis before demand reviews and drives improvement of forecast quality.
- Sets and leads demand review meetings, challenges inputs, and converts sell-out FC to sell-in FC
- Maintains and analyzes OMP data for statistical forecast accuracy
- Manages risk/opportunity studies and leads the TLO flagging process
// Supply Chain Operations:
- Manages inventory for finished goods, creates development scenarios, and optimizes actions.
- Oversees mid/long-term Master Production Plan
- Collaborates with CMO management partners to align FG demand & supply plans
- Manages replenishment orders for local DCs and coordinates physical scrapping activities
// Launch & Transition Strategy Management:
- Plans, follows up, and coordinates all supply chain-related steps for launch & transition strategies.
- Consolidates impacts of launch & transition strategies into holistic execution plans
// Continuous Improvement and Risk Management:
- Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and excess inventory reduction.
- Drives resolution of structural supply chain shortfalls and acts as a sub-regional subject matter expert
// Financial Planning and Management:
- Provides input to country lead in financial studies and annual FC submission.
- Manages and escalates challenges hindering smooth supply and prepares aligned Supply Plans
// Logistics and Warehouse Management:
- Ensures on-time importation, cash flow, and warehouse operation planning for finished goods.
- Executes promo pack operations including master data maintenance and coordination with 3PL
// Communication and Relationship Management:
- Acts as the primary communication focal point for all supply/demand related topics
- Be an active participant of weekly Supply Review & Performance huddle.
- Proactively communicates supply risks and significant demand/supply changes
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
// Preferably graduated from engineering, pharmacy or business administration faculties of universities
// Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain and demand planning areas
// Excellent English & French is a must
// Experience in the healthcare, dermatology, or nutritional sectors is highly preferred
//Supply Chaing Planning: Advanced knowledge of supply chain planning processes with a focus on interdependencies and optimization/ agility levers
// Data Analytics: Proficiency in data analysis techniques to derive insights from historical data, identify trends, patterns, and opportunities, and drive data-driven decision-making processes
Financial Acumen: Advanced knowledge in supply chain cost structure
// Strategic Planning & Decision Making: Capacity to develop and implement strategic supply chain plans aligned with business goals, leveraging data analytics and market insights to make informed decisions
// Adaptability and Resilience: Ability to quickly adapt to changing market conditions, supply chain disruptions, and regulatory requirements while maintaining resilience in supply operations.
