Monitoring Express and domestic operation to ensure effective and efficient work flow in line with the standards procedures and policies
Job Description
- Oversee and motivate a team of operations personnel to achieve departmental goals.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance reviews for direct reports.
- Ensure adherence to safe work practices within the team.
- Manage team schedules and staffing levels for optimal efficiency.
- Manage company vehicles and ensure optimal use.
- Track and optimize routes for delivery personnel.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure compliance.
- Handle issues related to cash on delivery (COD) transactions.
- Facilitate clear communication both internally and externally.
- Collaborate effectively with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Performance Management and Analysis:
- Monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
- Analyze performance data and identify potential risks or losses.
- Prepare and track performance reports.
- Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Work collaboratively with customer service teams to resolve issues effectively.
- Implement and enforce established operational standards and procedures.
- Monitor team activities to ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.
- Manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and technology
Job Responsibilities - Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an operations environment
- Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating a team
- Experience in implementing and enforcing operational standards and procedures
