Onsite - Field Project Manager for Arabic Reading Level Field Survey
(Freelance 3 Months Contract from mid-Sep to mid-Dec)
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Field Project Manager to lead the execution
of an educational field project. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of on-site
field activities, managing logistics, and maintaining clear communication with school teams and
stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
● Project Communication:
- Act as the primary liaison between schools, principals, and field coordinators.
- Ensure smooth communication and coordination among all stakeholders to facilitate the fieldwork.
- Establish communication channels with school staff and identify key team members.
- Assign roles and responsibilities to coordinators and supervisors.
- Collaborate with school administration to streamline workflows and align session schedules.
- Facilitate training workshops for the school team.
● Field Test Planning and Management:
- Schedule and organize field sessions slots across multiple schools within the country.
- Monitor and ensure schools' commitment and participation in the field tests.
● Technical Assessment:
- Evaluate device compatibility with the platform and assess internet connectivity for concurrent usage.
● Supervision and Reporting:
- Oversee field test supervisors to ensure accurate data collection and adherence to testing protocols.
- Compile and submit regular reports on field test progress, challenges, and outcomes.
● Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with the Ministry of Education and other relevant educational bodies.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by schools or principals promptly and
effectively.
● Logistics and Resources:
- Coordinate the logistics of field test resources, including distribution and collection.
- Ensure that all necessary resources are available for the successful execution of the field tests.
- Oversee all logistical aspects of field sessions, including the setup and team transportation.
- Ensure ICT labs and classrooms are fully prepared, following detailed checklists
to meet technical requirements.
● Quality Assurance:
- Implement and monitor quality assurance measures to ensure the integrity and
reliability of the field test data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Information Systems,
Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in EdTech, Education or Technical projects
- Experience working with government bodies, especially Ministries of Education,
is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Culturally aware and able to work effectively in diverse environments (eg. Public/Private Schools).
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
