Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee both internal projects and client-facing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in using Jira as a project management tool. This role involves coordinating project activities, ensuring timely delivery, and managing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and resources, for both internal and client projects.
- Define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure project execution.
Project Execution:
- Monitor and manage project progress using Jira, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Lead project meetings, including kickoff, status updates, and review meetings.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Client Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client projects, ensuring clear communication and addressing client needs.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing expectations and delivering on promises.
- Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and performance metrics to clients and internal stakeholders.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and other project managers.
- Facilitate collaboration and ensure effective communication within project teams.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Implement and enforce best practices for project management and documentation.
Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate project performance and outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of project management processes and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a track record of successfully managing internal and client projects.
- Proficiency in using Jira for project management, including creating and managing tasks, sprints, and reports.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead projects to successful completion.
