COFICAB is hiring a Procurement Supervisor


Job purpose :


Plans and executes procurement operations in line with the Logistic Department and company’s strategic direction and leads efficiently and effectively the procurement process including, needs calculation, PR and PO's issuing and follow up, delivery and shipement monitoring and reception.


Main responsibilities :


  • Leads material requirement calculation, defines monthly copper needs and adjusts hedged quantities to meet inventory level and coverage.
  • Performs weekly needs calculation of all required Raw materials and consumables. Issues and follows up purchasing orders, creates PO's on the information system, issues PO's to suppliers.
  • Follows up delivery and shipment of raw materials, consumables and packaging. Monitors suppliers service and takes required actions to meet target (Delivery time & Quantities).
  • Prepares suppliers performances data in terms of delivery efficiency (OTIF) and communicates data to purchasing department.
  • Coordinates with transport providers and resolves delivery, scheduling and dispatching problems through effective and timely communication with transporters to ensure on-time delivery under optimized delivery Flows.
  • Prepares, communicates and reviews Procurement and Transport KPI's and defines accordingly continuous improvement plans of processes, procedures and systems in line with the Logistics Department and company's objectives.


Educational Background:

- Master's degree in logistics, Transport Management or Transportation Administration


Required Experience :

- 1 to 3 years in a similar position in industrial/manufacturing environment.


Functional and Technical Competencies :


Procurement methods, Supplier relationship management, International regulation, .


Good level in french & english is mandatory
