Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the team of Advanced Quality Engineers.
- Lead the Advanced Quality activities related to new project with BMW.
- Control and validate Quality APQP deliverables in Profile / LearPro.
- Control and validate the development and the update of the control plan.
- Control the submission of the Schedule-A / eAPQP to the customer.
- Control the preparation of the list of special characteristic supplement-K / SCSS.
- Ensure the follow-up of customer scorecards.
- Control the problem-solving of customer claims related to prototypes and pre-serial production.
- Control internal defect analysis for prototypes.
- Control the implementation of engineering changes.
- Support the preparation of the internal deviations to ensure adherence to customer requirements and Lear procedures.
- Ensure the self-assessment according to customer requirements (Manufacturing Site Assessment…).
- Encourage the team to propose solutions and to remove the roadblocks.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
Key skills and Qualifications:
- Bac+5, with at least 5 years of experience within the automotive industry
- Knowledge of Quality Management systems IATF 16949 (standards)
- Good knowledge of problem-solving tools: ISHIKAWA, 8D, 5WHY, PARETO…
- Good knowledge of Quality Core-tools: Control Plan, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP…
- Good skills in Team Management
- Ability to work in a high-tempo environment and interact with team members over a wide scope of the organization.
- Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
