The Debt Recovery Officer's main mission is to ensure the management, follow-up, and security of financial flows related to customer accounts. They ensure compliance with payment deadlines, contribute to the optimization of debt recovery, and actively participate in the company's good financial health.





In this role, they are responsible for:





- Managing a portfolio of clients and regularly monitoring their accounts.





- Checking incoming payments and ensuring the compliance of received payments.





- Identifying late payments and implementing the necessary actions for their resolution.





- Making follow-up calls by phone, mail, or email, with a focus on efficiency and courtesy.





- Negotiating, when appropriate, payment plans suited to each client's situation.





- Preparing dispute files and following up on them until resolution, in collaboration with management.





- Maintaining quality professional relationships with clients to preserve the company's image and interests.





- Preparing periodic reports on the status of collections and contributing to the continuous improvement of internal procedures.





Required profile :


Holder of a diploma in management, finance, accounting, or any other relevant field.





Experience in debt collection is an asset, but not strictly required; experience in customer relations or in a call center environment would also be valued.





Excellent command of French, both spoken and written; knowledge of English is desirable.





Strong communication, active listening, and negotiation skills, with real ease in managing customer relationships.





Ability to work independently while integrating effectively into a team.





Proficiency in computer tools and management software necessary for the proper execution of the assigned tasks.
