1. Job Objective




As part of UM6P's sports policy, the Fitness Coach is responsible for setting up and supervising weight training and fitness activities, by proposing programs adapted to the different levels of participants. The objective is to promote fitness, maintain physical condition, or prepare for competitive sports activities, in a safe, dynamic, and supportive environment.





2. Main Tasks





Supervising weight training and fitness classes:





  • Lead and supervise individual and group sessions adapted to the levels and goals of the participants (students, staff, guests).

  • Assess participants' level through tests and guide them to appropriate groups.

  • Develop personalized programs according to each person's physical abilities and goals.

  • Advise on the proper use of equipment (cardio machines, weight machines, etc.).

  • Correct postures and techniques to ensure optimal results safely.

  • Suggest referrals to other professionals (dietitian, sports doctor) if necessary.



Group animation and dynamics:





  • Organize and lead group fitness classes in a motivating and supportive atmosphere.

  • Create engagement and loyalty among participants.



Supervision and safety:





  • Ensure the safety of users and the proper use of equipment.

  • Regularly check the condition of the facilities and report any malfunctions.

  • Apply hygiene and safety rules, and intervene in case of emergency (first aid).

  • Participate in light maintenance and tidying up of equipment.



3. Performance Indicators





  • Participant satisfaction rate (surveys, direct feedback)

  • Attendance and loyalty rate for sessions

  • Number of incidents or malfunctions reported and handled

  • Cleanliness and tidiness of sports facilities
