Job :
As a Claims Adjuster, your main mission would be to ensure a quality level of claims management services in line with the quantitative and qualitative objectives of the department, by seeking lasting customer satisfaction and controlling claims costs.
You will be responsible for managing claims from declaration to closure:
- Handle incoming communications (phone calls or deferred responses) coming directly or indirectly from clients
- Review claim declarations and determine the guarantees and benefits to be applied according to the contract, identify recovery opportunities, and assign experts if necessary
- Analyze requests and process the various actions that result
- Analyze risks and check the compliance of files, informing the relevant departments
- Detect fraud and forward the file to the fraud contact
- Seek settlement solutions, negotiate the settlement amount based on the chosen solution, and propose associated service offers to better control technical costs
- Inform, guide, and respond to requests from clients/general agents/service providers by mail, phone, or fax
- Alert management about sensitive cases
- Proceed with the claim settlement within the authorized limit and close or transfer the file
- May be required to analyze the contractual situation of clients based on their coverage level
- May be required to sell services that meet their needs, based on opportunities.
