Job Description
Context:
As part of projects to implement and evolve digital portals (intranet, extranet, business platforms) based on Liferay DXP in SaaS/Cloud mode, we are looking for autonomous Liferay consultants.
Main Missions
Design, development, and configuration of Liferay DXP portals (7.4 or similar versions)
Development of Liferay components: portlets, widgets, OSGi services
Development and exposure of REST APIs
Configuration of native Liferay features: sites, pages, content, structures, templates, workflows, role and permission management
Integration of Liferay with third-party systems (SSO, directories, business applications)
Participation in estimation, technical design, and production deployment phases
Bug fixing, technical support, and performance optimization
Adherence to best practices for development and security
Depending on seniority level:
Independently manage a functional or technical scope
Contribute to Liferay SaaS/Cloud architecture choices
Technical guidance of developers
Act as a Liferay referent on projects
Required profile :
Qualifications
Technical Prerequisites
Professional experience with Liferay DXP 7.x (7.3, 7.4, or equivalent SaaS/Cloud version)
Proficiency in Java/JEE and the OSGi model
Good knowledge of REST APIs
Solid skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with at least one front-end framework (React, Angular, or equivalent)
Knowledge of Cloud environments is appreciated (AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
Operational Prerequisites
Ability to work independently on Liferay projects
Ability to understand functional needs and translate them technically
Comfortable communicating with technical and functional teams
Ability to be proactive and contribute to the continuous improvement of solutions
Rigor, commitment, and respect for deadlines
Profile Sought
Experienced consultant, senior, or expert / Tech Lead
The level of seniority is assessed based on autonomy and actual experience with Liferay, rather than the number of years of experience
