Job Overview



The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and effective financial planning. The role supports business growth by managing cash flow, optimizing margins, controlling costs, and partnering with management to drive strategic decisions in a fast-paced IT distribution environment.



Duties & Responsibilities




  • Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Moroccan accounting standards and IFRS (if applicable).

  • Ensuring timely and accurate closing of accounts.

  • Analyzing financial performance, profitability by product/vendor, and margin trends.

  • Preparing management reports, dashboards, and KPIs for senior leadership.

  • Leading the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.

  • Monitoring budget vs. actual performance and providing variance analysis.

  • Supporting pricing strategies and profitability analysis for IT products and solutions.

  • Managing cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.

  • Overseeing foreign currency transactions, import payments, and supplier settlements.

  • Optimizing credit terms with vendors and customers.

  • Supervising accounts receivable, credit limits, and customer collections.

  • Assessing customer credit risk and supporting sales with controlled credit policies.

  • Ensuring proper provisioning for doubtful debts.

  • Monitoring inventory valuation, aging, and turnover.

  • Working closely with supply chain and sales teams to control obsolete and slow-moving stock.

  • Ensuring accurate cost accounting for distributed IT products.

  • Ensuring compliance with Moroccan tax regulations (IS, TVA, IR, CNSS, etc.).

  • Preparing and reviewing tax declarations and liaising with tax authorities.

  • Coordinating with external auditors, tax advisors, and statutory bodies.

  • Establishing and maintaining strong internal controls and financial procedures.

  • Improving financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency.

  • Supporting ERP and financial system implementation or enhancements.

  • Leading, coaching, and developing the finance and accounting team.

  • Setting objectives, monitoring performance, and ensuring knowledge transfer.


Skills & Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

  • Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in IT distribution.

  • Strong knowledge of Moroccan accounting standards and tax regulations.

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent understanding of distribution business models and margins.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
