Job :
The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the maintenance and improvement of the geometric conformity of finished vehicles in series production and during the project phase, by ensuring the robustness of product/process changes and by managing the resolution of complex geometric quality issues.
Mission Goals
Ensure geometric feasibility during product/process modifications in series production and local integrations.
Manage the resolution of complex geometric quality problems of product and/or process origin.
Validate, from a geometric quality perspective, product/process changes impacting geometry.
Define, update, and manage the geometric monitoring plan.
Ensure the conformity and completeness of geometric reference files.
Mission Details – Series Production
Management of product / process changes
Update geometric technical documentation following product/process changes.
Document DFC/FGR in LUP to validate geometric impacts.
Validate and sign modification files with geometric impact: (Interface sheets - Assembly line modifications - POE / POI / POU modifications)
Be responsible for geometric specifications: FOP-A, gap and flushness plans.
Geometric monitoring plan
Define and manage monitoring plan changes in conjunction with PDS PE Series Production preparers and CAP geometrists.
Define: Characteristics to monitor - FOP-A specifications - 1D measurement files TCM, SIMAP
Implement reactivity tools: causal chains, fault trees, etc.
Geometric quality – Finished Vehicle Assembly
Ensure the geometric quality of the Finished Vehicle Assembly scope.
Manage the resolution of complex problems after demonstrating component conformity: Perform theoretical reassemblies - Develop dimension chains
Ensure the synthesis of geometric performance and consistency with: AVES dimensioning - Customer feedback - Quality capitalization via the indicator "100 perceived quality dimensions"
Participate in geometry animation committees (Assembly and Body Shop).
Propose, validate, and monitor provisional and definitive product/process solutions.
Validate provisional geometric deviations.
Capitalize solutions via RFNM for future projects.
Deploy geometry standards within the plant.
Ensure training and support for PDS PE Series Production UETs.
Assist manufacturing and plant quality teams.
Mission Details – Project
Under the responsibility of central departments and according to contract or delegation:
Geometry Series Conference Milestone (formerly RDV6 / MA+6)
Receive and analyze geometric monitoring plans.
Ensure the transition between project operation and series production between AB-PT1 and AB-PP.
Gradually manage the resolution of Product/Process geometric quality problems.
Prepare and manage the Geometry Series Conference meeting between AB-PP and Series Conference.
Design & industrialization
Participate in design and industrialization phases: Definition of cutouts and references - Development of dimension chains and tolerancing
