Within an agile team whose objective is to automate the deployment processes of the On-Premise IT infrastructure for all Orange France DTSI projects, the Team's role is to ensure the migration of automations to Ansible.

The DevOps engineer will have to interact with the various Ops teams, analyze the existing automations that use other proprietary tools in order to bring their expertise and design alternative automation solutions using the available Open Source tools (Ansible, Python, Terraform, Gitlab). They will also play a support role to help stakeholders in the operational deployment of the solution.

Your main tasks:

• Automate infrastructure lifecycle management processes


• Implement and maintain clear and concise technical documentation.


• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth integration of applications in the on-Premise cloud.


• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, thus contributing to the planning and achievement of automation program objectives


• Implement CI/CD practices to automate application deployment and testing.


• Collaborate with Ops teams to optimize infrastructure performance, security, and availability


• Ensure active monitoring of the latest trends and best practices in integration.

With a Master's degree (engineering school or equivalent university degree), you have significant experience of 6 years or more in Ansible and/or Terraform automation, Python and/or GoLang.

Priority skills:

• Design and integration of Ansible Playbooks, Roles, and/or modules


• Implement CI/CD principles (Gitlab, Runners, Docker, Ansible)


• Knowledge of a programming language (priority to Python or GoLang)

Additional skills:

• Knowledge in system and network administration


• Experience in implementing DevSecOps best practices


• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure services and automation tools (Terraform)


• Understanding of agility principles and Scrum methodology
