Job :
The Infrastructure Project Manager leads the implementation and evolution of technical environments (systems, networks, storage, security, cloud, etc.) while respecting performance, quality, and budget requirements. They act as a true conductor between technical teams, service providers, and business units, ensuring the success of infrastructure projects from start to finish.
Main missions:
Project management
- Define the organization and governance of infrastructure projects.
- Assess workloads, estimate the budget, and establish the overall project schedule.
- Determine the necessary resources (human, technical, financial) and ensure their availability.
- Ensure the project is delivered in accordance with the objectives defined in the baseline (budget, quality, deadlines, scope).
- Identify, analyze, and manage project risks, while ensuring the implementation of appropriate mitigation plans.
- Track the progress of work and produce regular reports for governance bodies.
- Monitor and analyze project performance indicators (KPIs) and propose corrective actions if necessary.
Technical expertise
- Master the key areas of infrastructure:
- Computing power, storage, and networks.
- Network architectures and operating systems.
- Cloud computing (private, public, hybrid).
- Databases and IT security.
- Supervision, monitoring, and automation tools (scripting, orchestration, etc.).
- Participate in the design of technical architectures and the selection of solutions in collaboration with experts and architects.
- Support teams in the implementation of technical solutions and ensure compliance with company standards.
Required profile :
Education & experience
- Higher education (Bac+5 or Master's degree) in Computer Science, Networks, or Information Systems.
- Significant experience (5 to 10 years) in IT infrastructure project management, in complex or multi-site environments.
Technical skills
- Solid knowledge of systems (Windows, Linux), virtualization, storage, networks, cloud, and cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in project tracking tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.).
- Knowledge of monitoring and automation tools (Ansible, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.).
Behavioral skills
- Leadership and ability to unite multidisciplinary teams.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and work in demanding contexts.
Certifications
- ITIL certification recommended.
- A project management certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile) would be a plus.
