Aptiv is seeking an experiencedAssembly Manager to lead our Assembly operations and act as theprocess owner for Flow 5, ensuring strong operational performance and consistent achievement of Quality, Volume, and Cost objectives. This role oversees all Assembly activities, from planning and resource allocation to performance tracking, continuous improvement, and full compliance with Aptiv’s quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Your role:
Lead Flow 5 operations by developing short-, medium-, and long-term production plans, resource planning, and budget proposals aligned with plant objectives.
Ensure effective daily execution of production activities, including system performance, optimal resource utilization, process start‑up/shut‑down, and communication practices.
Provide foremen and production teams with the necessary tools, resources, and support to achieve operational targets.
Monitor key indicators, compare results to targets, and ensure compliance with quality, workstation organization, and health & safety standards.
Analyze production data, apply corrective measures when deviations occur, and drive continuous improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives.
Evaluate and measure performance metrics such as productivity per shift, quality, H&S indicators, absenteeism, turnover, manpower levels, hours, maintenance, and production costs—including waste.
Ensure compliance with Aptiv’s quality, environmental, and health & safety standards while recognizing and reinforcing strong performance and behaviors.
