What You Will Do:
- Perform hardware setup and imaging – Assist with imaging Windows laptops/desktops using standard procedures, handle basic installations of software and peripherals, support moves and additions under supervision, and help with asset reclaim and disposal tasks.
- Provide first-level support across multiple platforms – Troubleshoot common post-deployment issues on Windows, Macintosh, and mobile devices; assist executive (VIP) users with basic requests; resolve simple hardware/software conflicts; and help set up audio/video equipment for meeting spaces including basic health checks.
- Assist with asset management, onboarding, and reporting – Help tag and log incoming equipment into the asset management system, ensure hardware is assigned to new hires according to checklists, coordinate with external vendors for basic repair dispatch, and collect data for weekly reports on physical inventory counts and hardware outflows.
What You Need:
- Platforms & OS – Foundational knowledge of Windows and Macintosh (including portables), basic familiarity with imaging Windows 10 OS, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Networking & printer – Understanding of TCP/IP, Windows Networking, and Ethernet; ability to assist with networked printer troubleshooting (e.g., checking queues, basic setup under guidance).
- Hardware & repair fundamentals – Break-fix support (e.g., swapping peripherals, identifying failed components), familiarity with warranty processes, ability to assist with hardware refresh tasks, basic spare parts tracking, printer setup, and following data backup/recovery procedures.
- Asset management & reporting basics – Ability to assist with asset tagging and inventory counts (depot operations), basic spreadsheet skills (Excel: simple formulas, data entry, basic calculations), and help with gathering data for weekly physical inventory reporting.
- Languages, license & shift availability – Fluent in French, intermediate English, valid driver's license, can start immediately, open to shifts (Morning/Mid/Night).
