Roles & Responsibilities

1. Drive Publisher Acquisition (The Hunter)

  • Target Strategically: Map the digital landscape to identify high-potential web publishers and creators in the Maghreb and West Africa.
  • Outreach & Pitch: Manage the full sales cycle from cold outreach to closing. You will pitch our ''first look'' ; opportunity and explain why our RPM beats the competition.
  • Build Trust: Effectively demonstrate our value proposition to publishers who are tired of being undervalued by Google & consort.

2. Master the Tech (The Operator)

  • Optimization: You aren't just selling; you understand the product. You will use tools like Google Ad Manager (GAM) to help onboard partners, ensuring their ad units and formats are optimized for our demand.
  • Master the Metrics: You will dive deep into the data. You are responsible for monitoring and optimizing key performance indicators RPM (Revenue Per Mille): Your north star. You will implement strategies to increase the overall revenue per 1,000 page views
  • Seamless Handover: Work closely with technical teams to ensure scripts and line items are implemented correctly and tags are live within our promised 48-hour window.

3. Nurture & Upsell (The Advisor)

  • Be the Strategic Partner: You are not just a vendor; you are their monetization consultant. You will manage the day-to-day relationship, ensuring publisher satisfaction and retention.
  • Yield Advisory: Analyze publisher inventory to recommend layout changes, density improvements, or viewability hacks that increase their revenue without hurting UX.
  • Upsell Strategy: Identify opportunities to expand the partnership. This includes convincing publishers to adopt high-impact formats (Interstitials, Video), implementing Header Bidding, or granting Kawarizmi exclusive access to premium inventory.

4. Analyze & Grow (The Strategist)

  • Monitor Performance: Track campaign outcomes and publisher yield (RPM). Use data to spot trends in African traffic and suggest optimizations. Be the Voice of the Market: Provide actionable feedback from the field to help us refine our commercial strategy for the region.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in AdTech, Digital Publishing, or B2B Sales. You have a track record of "hunting" and closing deals, but you also know how to maintain a client portfolio.
  • Ad Ops Fundamentals: Practical experience with Google Ad Manager (GAM) or SSPs is a plus. You must possess strong theoretical knowledge of the ad-tech stack: you know what a Line Item, a Creative, and a Key-Value pair are, and you understand how to track Publisher KPIs.
  • Language: Native/Fluent French and professional English. Arabic is a strong plus.
  • Mindset: You have a ''Builder'' mentality. You are comfortable with cold calling, persistent follow-ups, and negotiation.
