DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for Senior CDZ Operations (Licensed & Authorized Signatory) in Morocco. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of transit and customs clearance activities. As a licensed transit professional and officially authorized signatory (personne habilitée), you act as the primary liaison with customs authorities and ensure full compliance with applicable regulations.

In this Senior CDZ Operations (Licensed & Authorized Signatory) position

• You will oversee and manage end-to-end transit and customs clearance operations
• You will act as the official authorized signatory with customs authorities
• You will hold and operate under a valid transit license, ensuring continuous compliance
• You will maintain and manage relationships with customs authorities and regulatory bodies
• You will review, validate, and sign customs declarations in line with legal requirements
• You will ensure full compliance and mitigate risks related to customs penalties
• You will handle complex shipments, disputes, and customs clearance issues
• You will develop, implement, and optimize customs procedures and SOPs
• You will monitor regulatory changes and ensure business adaptation
• You will train and guide operational teams on customs compliance and best practices
• You will support internal and external audits (compliance and customs)
• You will track and report KPIs (clearance time, cost efficiency, compliance rate, incidents)

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Law, or related field
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in transit and customs clearance
• Mandatory: Holder of a valid transit license
• Mandatory: Recognized as an authorized signatory (“personne habilitée”) by Customs Administration
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan customs regulations
• Experience in an international environment / freight forwarding strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of Incoterms and import/export procedures
